FIFA to Rebuild Gaza Stadium

Now FIFA is pledging to rebuild the soccer stadium in Gaza that the IDF targeted during Operation Pillar of Defense (original story is  here on FIFA website, near the bottom of the page).

Does FIFA not know that the reason it was targeted was because it was used as a long-range rocket launching site? This is the site from which rockets were fired toward Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

See the tweet from the IDF during the operation: https://twitter.com/IDFSpokesperson/status/270578093431853059

Below is the infographic about the stadium.

Do any of my American taxes go to funding FIFA?

Those countries that take part in the soccer world cup all finance FIFA to some degree. Exactly how much the USA contributes I am not sure.

Has Israel told FIFA or the world why it targeted a soccer field and explained that it might have to do so again. FIFA is completely negating the lesson Israel tried to send to Hamas. Perhaps FIFA need a permanent budget for rebuilding the Gaza soccer field.

Of course FIFA is aware why the field was targeted just as the UN is very aware of who the Palestinians really are. But sine the world is controlled by the Muslim world any decision they want has an automatic majority
