Aliyah Continues Even During Gaza War

As some people talk about "so many" Israelis leaving the country, others in great numbers are arriving to make a new life for themselves here in Israel.

Aliyah to Israel is continuing despite the intense war with Hamas in Gaza, and the pace could even pick up given the current wave of antisemitism sweeping the globe, as evidenced in the near pogrom in Dagestan, Russia on Sunday.

Over coming weeks, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem is supporting Aliyah flights for 111 Jewish youths ages 14 to 18 immigrating from the former Soviet republics. After they complete their study program, they will be eligible to become Israeli citizens and serve in the IDF to defend their new homeland. The ICEJ also is working on the ground in these same former Soviet countries to help with their Aliyah preparations, logistics and airport transport.

Meantime, the ICEJ also is sponsoring flights for 61 Ethiopian Jews who will arrive as soon as they get their exit documents in Addis Ababa.

So far this year, the ICEJ has assisted over 5,000 Jewish immigrants during various stages of their journey home to Israel, as well as with immediate integration needs. This includes sponsoring homeward bound Aliyah flights for more than 1,300 of these olim (newcomers). The worldwide Aliyah is expected to exceed 50,000 Jews this year – numbers not seen since the 1990s following the collapse of the Soviet Union.

These figures do not include the nearly 300,000 Israeli citizens living abroad who have rushed home to defend their ancestral homeland. With most flights in and out of Israel cancelled due to Hamas rocket barrages from Gaza, EL AL and other Israeli airlines have still been operating out of Ben-Gurion Airport and the in-bound flights are packed with a mix of returnees and new immigrants. In fact, some Israeli airplanes have added extra seats to accommodate the increased demand and Israeli pilots have even allowed some people to sit on the floor in the galley or in cockpit seating.

The ICEJ has already assisted over 5,000 Jews on their journey home to Israel so far this year, including the funding of homeward Aliyah flights for more than 1,300 of these newcomers. Join with us in this urgent and timely effort to build up Zion and help strengthen the nation of Israel! Make your best gift today to the ICEJ’s Aliyah efforts!

A Grandmother's Emotions as Family Goes off to War

A Grandmother expresses her heartfelt emotions via a poem as the grandson goes off to fight:-

Stand your own ground

My dear grandson
Precious, sweet one,
Watched you grow up.
Ever taller, broad shouldered,
Yet with modest stoop.
Only now, just learning
To stand your own ground.

Noshing cookies - mother’s delicacies
When her back’s turned
Pops in another! But grandma sees!!
Called up!
“Take biscuits!” shaped like crescent moon,
Which waxes then wanes - all to soon
To stand our own ground.

Piano you play, never before heard
fingers tinkle ‘Fur Elise’ like yours.
Why now stop? Call Up!
My young grandson,
Off to base in the south
To stand his own ground.
Hard awork at your station,
bent on saving our nation
from even greater disaster,
from rape of our country.
Your eyes on the screen,
to which you are glued
A hero unsung.  Like you,
hundreds others
Stand their own ground.

Thirty three pairs of socks
not enough for my contingent,
says grandson from his base. Need
mattresses, batteries, underwear, scarves,
Need I say more? Yes Tzizit galore
They’re placed on corners four
Our protection they are
our own human shield
All these are what we need ….to
Stand our own ground.

We turn to our heroes for comfort and inspiration
Not only for mind, but for soul’s consolation.
Let’s turn to Rabbi Sacks, so dearly lamented.
Are we telling a story? No! ‘We’re writing a chapter.’
And said Sivan Rahav-Meir, brilliant media personality.
‘Israel will never be the same. No! It will be better’
Echoes of the past can surely imbue us
With strength and determination
To stand or own ground – on our Own Ground

Israel Didn't Say it, The PA Did

Israel didn't say this. The head of the Palestinian Authority
said it. Arab and Muslim media ignored it; you shouldn't.
"#Hamas leaders in Gaza and abroad said:
“We don’t care if #Gaza is erased.” All they care
about is that the Hamas movement continue to exist.
They said: We don’t care what happens.

Where Have all the Billions Gone?

a) How have the Hamas leaders become so wealthy?

b) Why are they not living in the Gaza Strip?

c) where is the civil infrastructure for Gazans?

BBC agrees to stop describing Hamas as ‘militant’ group

Following criticism from Parliament and outrage abroad, BBC to stop referring to Hamas as militants.

By JNS

The BBC will stop describing Hamas as a “militant” group and instead refer to the rulers of the Gaza Strip as “a terrorist organization proscribed by the U.K. government.”

According to reports, the decision was made during a meeting between members of Britain’s Board of Jewish Deputies and BBC director-general Tim Davie.

The reports said that Jewish leaders expressed “outrage” at the BBC‘s coverage of last week’s explosion at the Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza, which Hamas claimed killed hundreds of Palestinians and blamed on an Israeli airstrike.

The Israeli military quickly confirmed that the explosion was caused by a failed Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket launch, and Hamas is believed to have significantly inflated the death toll.

Davie is slated to be grilled by parliamentarians later this week about the broadcaster’s coverage of the war between Israel and Hamas, amid a groundswell of public anger over the outlet’s reporting.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog told visiting British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Thursday that there should be a public outcry against the BBC’s refusal to call Hamas a terrorist organization.

“I know that in modern democracies, like ours and yours, you can’t interfere per se, but since the BBC has a certain linkage and is known as British all over the world, there has to be an outcry for it to be corrected, and that Hamas will be defined as a terrorist organization there as well,” Herzog said. “What else do they need to see to understand that this is an atrocious terror organization?”

The BBC has adamantly refused to call Hamas “terrorists,” even after the Islamist group’s murder of more than 1,400 persons in Israel, most of them civilians, and kidnapping of over 220 others, including dozens of foreign nationals.

Sunak responded that “we should call it what it is—an act of terrorism perpetrated by an evil terrorist organization, Hamas.”

The BBC is currently “urgently investigating” six reporters and a freelancer following complaints of anti-Israel posts by them on social media.

The posts included “statements justifying the killing of Israeli civilians by Hamas,” referring to the Oct. 7 massacre as a “morning of hope,” mocking relatives of an Israeli grandmother kidnapped by Hamas and saying that “Israel’s prestige is crying in the corner,” according to the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA).

The BBC also apologized after a guest on one of its news programs compared Hamas terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians to Jews rising up against the Nazis in the Warsaw Ghetto in the spring of 1943.

Citing BBC’s “biased coverage” of the war against Hamas, staff at the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya banned a film crew from entering the hospital on Saturday.

“When there is no clarity, and this is sometimes the nature of this situation, it is good for such a popular media outlet to check, delve and investigate before publishing its reviews to hundreds of millions of people in the world,” hospital director professor Masad Barhoum told Jewish News Syndicate.

“In everything related to the BBC network, too many red lines were crossed, so when they asked to film at our medical center and interview doctors, it was clear that they were looking for manipulations and distortions, so we informed them that we have closed our doors to them until further notice,” he added.

Unity and Resilience - Israel's Special Weapon

There is such a sense of unity in the country in the present situation and there are stories galore of everyone looking for what they can do to help

 a)     Two hundred soldiers and 70 families from the south came on a Friday morning to Beit Shemesh, to be put up in several areas around town. Within hours, families from all neighborhoods had filled in the Google sheets to cook all the necessary food and donate all the linens, pillows, blankets, and towels that were needed. This story was repeated in cities throughout the country.

b)     On an even more generous scale, several contractors have donated dozens of newly built apartments for some of those made homeless by Hamas, such as the Ampa Yuval real estate company, which allocated 50 in Tzur Yitzhak in the middle of the country. Local chains contributed basic furniture and appliances – and dozens of locals made sure to clean them all, bring in the smaller necessary items, fill the pantries, provide games and toys, and applaud the families as they walked in.

c)     Helping The Soldiers

Religious and irreligious people can be seen stand shoulder to shoulder singing and bringing cheer and goodies to injured civilians and soldiers in hospitals. There are clips of weddings arranged on the spot in army bases so that those who thought the most wonderful day in their lives was ruined, instead have the most intensely special event as caterers bring in food and national icons come to sing to make them happy, while almost everyone but the bride is dressed in uniform.

 d)     Innumerable restaurants are sending hundreds of portions of fresh food to soldiers all over the country every day, even if they are closed to the public due to the security situation. When several eateries in Tel Aviv heard that the religious soldiers had to go without because the meals weren’t kosher, these secular owners made the spontaneous decision to make their kitchens kosher in an intensive cleaning process so that everyone could partake in the future.

e)     The Incredible Youth

With almost all schools closed, the youth of the country have been in the forefront in thousands of places, doing good, and testimonials praising them have flooded the internet. They collect and distribute goods to soldiers and those who fled the south, run fun activities for young children so their parents can have a break, bake goodies for the families of soldiers to remind them they are loved and not alone, among so much more.

One particular story of selflessness took place in Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. Most of the cleaning staff had not come in for a day or two, and the situation was getting urgent, an employee posted. At 6:00 a.m., 150 teens from the Bnei Akiva youth movement showed up and cleaned without let up for hours.

“I’ve worked in hospitals for many years and have never smelled such a good odor everywhere, like in a hotel,” the person wrote. “It was really so touching, because cleaning is not something that people usually run to volunteer for, and here, overnight 150 youth came.”

GRANDMA'S ARMY IN DANGER

 (Cross posted from Grandma's Army)

The “Israeli Defense Forces”  is the only army in the world to be named as such. Since its inception, it has never been Israel’s intention  to be the aggressor or to start a war.  Israel is not looking to enlarge its territory, to become an Empire, or to make converts.

There are 56 Islamic countries, 125 predominantly Christian countries - how dare the Jews claim the right to have a country of  their own, and such a big one! People are used to the Jews being helpless, homeless, and defenceless.  That has been our role in the world for the last 2,000 years.

For days, the civilized world has been steeped in stories of the unbelievable barbarity perpetrated by Hamas in Israel. And yet, there is still an international political regime, including academia, that romanticises so-called Palestinians and now blame Israelis for being brutalised.

How can one rationalise the murder of close to 1,400 individuals, including rape, decapitating babies, and setting fire to whole families? What will it take for the “enlightened” Western world to understand that the recent Hamas inhuman attacks have nothing to do with colonisation, occupation, oppression, or even fear that Israel would sign a peace treaty with Saudi Arabia. They were rooted in Hamas’ lethal, radical ideology.

Hizbullah, which has devastated the once beautiful country of Lebanon, are their partners in evil.

Fifty years ago, Golda Meir said to Biden (Today’s President of the U.S.) “Don't worry, Senator Biden. We Jews have a secret weapon here in Israel: We have no place else to go.”

How much longer does  Israel have to fight for the right to exist? What happened in Israel should be a warning sign to the entire West. We need to fight for good against evil worldwide – for the sake of humanity.

Drug known as 'poor man's cocaine' found on bodies terrorists

Evidence suggests use of the drug heptagon, which promotes alertness

In the aftermath of the surprise attack on October 7, evidence has emerged suggesting that some of the terrorists involved had used the drug heptagon, also known as "the poor man's cocaine."

This drug was discovered in both captured individuals and on the bodies of attackers, as bullets were found concealed in their clothing, Israel’s Channel 12 reported on Thursday.

Heptagon is known for its ability to provide extended periods of alertness, a quality that may have been exploited by the terrorists during their brutal attacks. The production of this drug is primarily centered in Lebanon and Syria. Originally, it was used as a medication to treat depression and attention disorders, as it induces a sense of euphoria and suppresses fear. The drug has earned various nicknames in the region, including "the drug of Jihad," "the drug of ISIS," and "the drug of the poor."

Previously, it was reported that ISIS fighters used Captagon, as it was believed to help them suppress fear before launching terrorist acts. Even after the weakening of ISIS, the distribution of this drug continued. However, it was eventually deemed illegal due to its addictive and potentially lethal properties in certain doses. Nonetheless, its production persists, particularly in the Middle East.

The proliferation of Captagon, particularly in the Syrian region, dates back at least to 2006 during the Second Lebanon War, with Hezbollah's involvement. According to data, in 2022, revenues from Captagon exports from Syria were estimated at approximately $30 billion. In recent years, the drug has gained popularity in the Gaza Strip, with tens of thousands of users, particularly

America's Moral Degeneration in Academia

From Rabbi Eliach to NYU admissions in response to their email to him:

Yes we have problems to resolve here in Israel with our enemies. However, one feels sick to the stomach at the attitudes that are gathering momentum in the Universities around the world. Are these so called moralists  who are currently students going to be the leaders in the future?

==============

Letter to Rabbi Eliach to seek support  and encourage Jewish students to enroll at NYU

“Dear Yotav,

This month, we’re exploring how Early Decision works ahead of the NYU’s November 1 EDI deadline, offering advice on what applicants should ask their college admissions reps, and more!”

=========================

Rabbi Eliach’s response:

“You sent me an email inviting my Orthodox Zionist Jewish students to apply early decision to NYU. Really?

Let me get to the point. You have too many faculty members and students who support Islamo – Nazi Hamas and Islamic Jihad Terror organizations. The slogans: Free Palestine, and From the River to the Sea Palestine will be free all means one thing: GENOCIDE. Real Genocide of my People. Not imagined Genocide like the one that the protesters say happened or is happening to the Arabs of Gaza or the Arabs of Judea and Samaria. Since 1967 their populations have quadrupled.

What happened in the Israeli towns across the border from HAMAS controlled Gaza on October 7 2023, was a Pogrom, a mini Holocaust. 1300 of my people were butchered, raped, beheaded, burnt alive, tortured because they were Jews. To me and Millions of Jews like me in Israel and the rest of the world, the rules of the game have changed.

The Lunatic Left and the Islamo – Nazis at NYU and other “institutions of higher learning”, think its “progressive” “revolutionary” to support the genocide of the Jewish Nation, especially in our homeland. The fact that some of these students or teachers may have been born Jewish is no different than the Jews who collaborated with the Nazis. Their “Jewishness” is irrelevant to me and millions of my fellow Jews. This game is over, it’s done. It’s not 1943 – 1944 our enemies will not throw us into ovens or slaughter us. We had no state or Army then. We do now. With God’s help the IDF and the rest of Israel’s Security forces, will send a very clear and loud message to all the Jew Haters: The rules of the game have changed. It’s 2023, and there will be a heavy price to pay for what the Islamo Nazis did on October 7th.

Your professors and students can chant that you want to throw us into ovens or the sea. I know: Free Speech. I guess all your “progressive” ideas of “Hate Speech” and “Microaggressions” dont apply to Jews. Not surprised. But we are not worried or scared. We are just enlightened. Our eyes are open. You really expect us to send our sons and daughters to your school? So they can go back in time, say 1943 Germany. So they can be threatened and told that they should be burned, gassed, shot, raped, tortured? Really? And we should pay for the privilege of exposing our children to what you believe is “Education”. Think again. NYU and other schools like you deserve your Lunatic Left and Islamo Nazi professors and students. Enjoy each other’s company. You will probably be pleased when NYU will eventually be Judenrein – German for Jew Free. I think we will make it happen. Oh yes, our money will leave with us as well. But, I bet you will find many wealthy Leftists and Islamo Nazis to contribute to your endowments.

Sincerely
Yotav Eliach – yes the name is Hebrew and Israeli. Does that constitute a microaggression?”

Hamas IS Gazans, "Palestinians", Muslims, Arabs

Submitted by "Ly Eryk" a  Haifa resident for 35 years"

Hamas does not stand for the Palestinian people’s right to dignity and self-determination" - US President Biden

"Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people," nor Arabs or Muslims" - Canadian PM Trudeau

"We cannot confuse Hamas, which is in the list of EU’s terrorist groups, with the Palestinian population, or the Palestinian Authority or the United Nation’s organisations on the ground” - Spanish Acting Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares

"Hamas’s policies and actions do not represent the Palestinian people, and the Palestine Liberation Organization is the only legitimate representative of the Palestinian people" - PLO/PA Chief Mahmood Abbas

"Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people or the future they want" - Britain PM Rishi Sunak

----------------------------------------------------------------

World leaders scramble to separate Gazans from the monstrous slaughter and destruction of Jews and those who had the temerity be in the same location with Jews perpetrated by  Hamas, terror thugs whom 60% of Gazans voted for in the last what passed for "elections" held in Gaza in 2006.  One leader raises the ludicrous nonsense bar even higher by claiming that Hamas doesn't represent the people who voted for it, Arabs or Muslims, conveniently ignoring that not only does Hamas indeed represent all three, but that Hamas actions and the unspeakable human horrors it perpetrates have been perpetrated by a plethora of "Palestinian"/Arab/Muslim terror thugs from the PLO to DAESH, from the Muslim Brotherhood to Hezbullah, from Boko Haram to Al Qaeda, Al Shabaab, Darul Islam, and the Riyad-us Saliheen Brigade all over Europe, the Near East, Asia, and Africa.

Under the flags of jihad and goals of Judenrein, the Palestine Liberation Organization  (PLO), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP-GC), the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Abu Nidal Organization, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad slaughtered Jews in Israel and Europe, hijacked planes and ships and murdered Jews who were passengers, blew men, women and children to bits in bus and train bombings, murdered thousands and left thousands more with nails and bolts permanently in their bodies (maximize the maim/kill factor) from suicide bombs. And when they could no longer butcher Jews with bombs, they used drive-by murders and cars and trucks, vehicular terror, to turn Jews into road kill.  None of which particularly bothered the world, who looked on the terrorizing and slaughter of Jews as something "regrettable but understandable, given the political situation" (oft-repeated by Britain's then Tory Foreign Affairs Secretary Douglas Hurd) and still repeated in one form or another to this day).

The PLO  was politically foisted on "Palestinians" by the Arab League and the UN, consolidating and strengthening power for Yasser Arafat (who had wrested power/control of the  PLO from Ahmad Shukeiri in 1967). Any PLO elections held were restricted to those candidates who were part of the PLO/PA and/or posed no threat to PLO control/oppression of the masses.  Billions of dollars in international aid were dedicated to "Palestine/Palestinians", making Arafat, his cronies and their bank accounts very wealthy.  Several days ago, Abu Abbas issued a statement reported by WAFA ("Palestine" News and Information Agency)  condemning the Hamas massacre (keep those hundreds of millions in US aid coming), which was then quickly scrubbed/deleted (keep those "Palestinians"/Muslims/Arabs on side).

Gazans voted for Hamas because they were tired of PLO embezzlement, extortion, exploitation,  and its efete inaction against the "Zionists enemy". They were also uncomfortable with the PLO's lack of Muslim discipline, which Hamas, as Muslim Shi'a, and proxy of Iran, has returned to them.   Much like the mullahs returned Islam to an Iranian population appalled by the Shah's increasing adoption of Western decadence.

In his belief that "slaughtering Jews" is not "the future "Palestinians" want",  Britain PM Sunak conveniently ignores that since its founding in 1964, PLO stands for Palestine Liberation Organization, the liberation of all of "mandated Palestine" and the elimination of Israel. That its chief thug Arafat wore military uniform and a side-arm for decades as public reinforcement of PLO goals. Since 2007, Hamas goals are identical to the PLO; an Islamic state in all of "Israel, the West Bank and Gaza". That's "the future Palestinians want" according to the stated goals of both terror groups that represent them.

The Simchat Torah Massacre has increased support immensely for Hamas in the "Palestinian"/Muslim/Arab world both for its murder/ethnic cleansing of Jews and its display of superior power, actions that have returned great honor for and respect to "Palestinians" and the larger Muslim ummah.  Hamas can expect huge increases in financial and materiel support from Iran, Qatar, Western anti-Israel groups and wealthy Muslims, which will further weaken Abu Abbas, as brute force is greatly feared/respected all over the "Palestinian"/Muslim/Arab world.

President Biden joins other world leaders in turning a blind eye to the daily reality of the lives of Gazans and 1.7 billion Muslims with the nonsensical notions of "the right to dignity and self-determination".  Khaled Mashal and Ismail Haniyeh, both former chief Hamas thugs born in Gaza, enjoyed the dignity  to attend university, raise a family and the self-determination to challenge the PLO, the reigning power in Gaza, boot that lot of terrorists out to become the latest terrorist reigning power.  And of course get their hands on all those billions of international aid, kick-backs from smuggling tunnels, extortion of local businesses and weak families/clans, and exploitation/total control of the local population, UNRWA, NGOs, media, etc.  There isn't a Muslim country whose population possesses, let alone enjoys, anything within light years of "dignity" and "self-determination" and certainly no freedom/choice.  All are under the controlling, brutalizing and exploiting thumb of the ruling despot, whether it be Gaza, the West Bank, Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Syria, Jordan, or Egypt. "Freedom" and "choice" are Western concepts, politically expedient sound bites, but anathemas both to Muslim rigid social structure and Islam itself.

And in more of that turning a blind eye to daily reality, Biden has gone so far as to accuse Hamas  "of using Palestinian civilians in Gaza as human shields".  Both Hamas and the PLO have used people in Gaza and the West Bank as human shields for decades.  It is shamefully disingenuous to  publicly mention it only now.

And of course various world leaders/international organizations repeatedly stating that "Israel has the right to defend itself". As if Jews must be perpetually at the mercy of those who persecute and slaughter them, unless permission otherwise is granted.

In the final analysis, it won't matter one iota whether or not Hamas is completely eradicated by the IDF in this current war. Because the IDF and anyone with a modicum of knowledge about the history of the region and Islam realizes that it's only a matter of time until the next bunch of terror thugs take over the oppression and exploitation of the local population.  When the reigning power is considered weak and ripe for challenge, challenge it for the opportunity to obtain absolute power/control (and the wealth that goes with it).  The raison d'etre of Hamas/Gazans/"Palestinians"/ Muslims in one sentence.

עם ישראל חי!!

PIJ Bombed its Own Hospital - Video Proof

IDF - "from an analysis of the IDF's operational systems, an enemy rocket barrage was carried out towards Israel, which passed in the vicinity of the hospital, when it was hit.  According to intelligence information, from several sources we have, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad is responsible for the failed [rocket] fire that hit the hospital.” IN OTHER WORDS… they hit their own hospital.

VIDEO EVIDENCE… there is clear video evidence (not shared here) showing a large Gaza rocket launch in the midst of which a large explosion goes off, both from Israeli surveillance cameras AND from Al Jazeera footage - which zooms in on the impact and spots it immediately.  Geolocation and timestamps on the footage clearly align and show IT WAS A GAZA ROCKET.  No Israel bombing was going on.  450 rockets have failed and fallen short in the Strip since the fighting began.

ARAB WORLD RAGES AT ISRAELI ATROCITY… the perfect propaganda item for the Arab world.  Rage riots in multiple countries including Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran Tunisia, Yemen, Turkey.  Jordan cancels meeting with President Biden.  Various cities and universities rally and demand to kill the Jews.

HOW MANY REALLY DIED?  Pictures released from enemy press show… around 30 bodies.  Assuming these aren’t dead taken out of the morgue, which they have done in the past (reusing bodies for press purposes).  Initial claims were 5,000, that didn’t fly in the media so they scaled it back to 500.  Fake numbers.

VARIOUS CONDEMNATIONS… World Health Organization says healthcare facilities should never be targeted… which they did NOT say earlier in the week when Barzellai hospital’s children’s wing in Israel was hit by a Hamas rocket.  Saudi Arabia condemns Israel, Russia requested a UN Security Council meeting.

SOCIAL MEDIA RAGES AT ISRAEL OVER HOSPITAL… X, Facebook, Instagram, all raging at Israel. But no raging at Hamas over murdering, torturing, and dismembering babies.  Facts don’t matter, Jews bad, genocidal terrorists good.

JUSTIFYING GENOCIDE AND INHUMANITY…. The Muslim world is desperate to justify the inhumanity of the terror invasion into Israel.  Women, children, babies, elderly, Holocaust survivors shot, tortured, raped, murdered, burnt to death.  Innocent civilians sitting in their homes, driving by on the road.  But now they can scream at Israel.  Don’t believe it, don’t fall for it.

They will and did gladly sacrifice masses of their own civilians for propaganda purposes.

Israel does not have to justify itself in a genocidal war against an utterly inhumane enemy while still burying their tortured dead and babies, and already acts as the most moral army in the world even in the midst of a campaign for literal survival of its people.

“Hundreds” killed in explosion at Gaza hospital - Hamas-run Health Ministry

Hundreds of people were reported killed in an explosion at the Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday evening, the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry reported, accusing Israel of striking the hospital.

Gaza hospital update: In a statement, the IDF says that "from an analysis of the IDF's operational systems, an enemy rocket barrage was carried out towards Israel, which passed in the vicinity of the hospital, when it was hit."

"According to intelligence information, from several sources”, the PIJ organization is responsible for the failed [rocket] fire that hit the hospital," the IDF adds.

In addition, the Israeli media quoting IDF sources stated, the explosion in Gaza city was not caused by IDF strikes. A video allegedly from the scene showed around dozen of bodies on grass. No evidence was provided to support the outlandish allegations of thousands of killed.

According to local Gaza sources: An impact at the Al Ahly Hospital, center Gaza City is being checked by some reports as a premature rocket detonation from a nearby launching site.

Reports continue to surface that a misfired rocket detonated a stockpile of munitions held on the hospital grounds. Also, there are no indication or reports of mass casualties arriving at the other collection points at Dar Al Shifa, Rajour, the Jordanian field hospital, or the Indonesian hospital in the northern governorate from al ahly.

Rockets fired by Hamas and other Palestinian factions often fall short and hit buildings in Gaza, with dozens of deaths reported in such incidents in past rounds of conflict. During Operation Breaking Dawn in August 2022, two people were killed after a rocket fired from Gaza fell next to a clinic.

Nikki Haley's Advise to Netanyahu

The rude awakening that the Israeli population and the world is still digesting is that Israel has a 1 million+ terrorist country sitting next to them that is the moral equivalent oif the Nazi regime in Germany during World War II. They are largely funded by Iran and they mean every word that they say when they threaten to kill and destroy the Jewish State.

In truth, this should not have had to be an awakening at all. But, we simply did not really take what the enemy said seriously enough. We believed more in our hi-tech security system than the same things that have been effective in previous decades.

True deterrence does not come from tall fences, barb wire, and hi-tech cameras. Of course, they are helpful, especially at stopping car theft. But when terrorists are allowed to run the roost, they will bring supplies by hook or crook. They will manufacture the weapons if they can’t smuggle them in.

The only answer is for Israel to completely overrun the entire Gaza Strip, take over the are completely, and destroy every single weapon in Gaza. Then, they need to send the population packing, not all at once. But, every year, the goal must be to decrease the population by 5-10%. Whoever goes first should be given the most cash. It is a worthy investment.

But more than anything else, Israel must resettle the destroyed Jewish communities. That will show the Arabs across the rest of Israel that terror boomerangs against them. The world will scream and Arabs will scream louder. That is all fine and good. The gloves are off. We must finish them…Nikki is right.

GRANDMA'S ARMY IN EMOTIONAL DISTRESS

Cross posted from Grandma's Army)

Yesterday felt like the longest day in my life. I was  spending  the festival - which is considered the happiest in the Jewish calendar - with my daughter, her husband, son and very pregnant daughter-in-law in Gannei Tal (a moshav down south). Instead of dancing in the synagogue we were being confined to their “safety room”, like prisoners, while continuously being bombarded by the thousands of rockets coming from Gaza.

Not long after the first siren woke us all up at 6:30 in the morning my grandson, who was a commanding officer in an elite unit, was called-up. He was gradually joined by his three brothers, one son’s triplets, plus the son and daughter of my other son. With the addition of two of my granddaughters’ husbands. Some are on the border with Gaza and others were sent to the north, where the threat from Hizbullah is always imminent.

Like the Yom Kippur War, the Arabs took Israel completely by surprise. The war began with a massive rocket barrage, under cover of which Hamas infiltrated into Israel. They invaded 22 kibbutzim and two towns where they murdered civilians and soldiers  and abducted women and children, together with army personnel.

People and the media who refer to these terrorists as “Freedom Fighters” are condoning evil. They should watch them massacre men, women and children indiscriminately, as the Israeli public has been witness to.

One of my grandsons was wounded while fighting to recapture Kfar Aza,  a kibbutz near the border with Gaza, which was being held hostage by terrorists. He was shot at twice. Miraculously, one bullet went right through his body and came out from his back, without harming any vital organs. The other bullet crushed his shoulder and arm, and he was operated on in the Tel Hashomer hospital. Thank God he is recovering.

We left Gaza completely in 2005 and have been giving them work in Israel ever since, because their own leaders do nothing to improve their living conditions. We installed and provide them with electricity and water. It was through one of those humanitarian borders that hundreds of terrorists poured in to Israel and began their murderous spree. The devastating loss to this tiny country is unbelievable.

Some Small bit of Good News in these Dark Days

Breaking: Hundreds of Israeli civilians, both those
that were in the rave festival, locals and people
that were in the area by chance, were found alive,
hiding without cell service in a rainwater

German tattoo artist, 30, killed by Hamas paraded body on back of a truck claiming she was an Israeli soldier

A woman whose lifeless and semi-naked body was paraded in the back of a Hamas pick-up truck as militants sat on top of her and jeered following their violent incursion was last night identified as a German tattoo artist.

Shani Louk, 30, was at a music festival for peace when she was seized by terrorists as they attacked Israel in a surprise assault which has left at least 480 people dead and 3,200 injured.

Her body was filmed splayed in the back of a truck, with one leg at an unnatural angle, terrorists sitting around it and supporters of the group cheering, running alongside and spitting on her.

It comes as Shani's mother, Ricarda, released a heartbreaking video begging for help to find out what happened to her daughter.

Holding a picture of Shani on her mobile phone, she said: 'This morning my daughter, Shani Nicole Louk, a German citizen, was kidnapped with a group of tourists in southern Israel by Palestinian Hamas.

'We were sent a video in which I could clearly see our daughter unconscious in the car with the Palestinians and them driving around the Gaza Strip.

'I ask you to send us any help or any news. Thank you very much.'

WHY ARE PALESTINIANS FLEEING THE GAZA STRIP?

  Bassam Tawil September 20, 2023 280 views

Thousands of Palestinians are continuing to leave the Gaza Strip in search of a better life in other countries, including Canada and the European Union.

In the past few weeks, several videos of Palestinians leaving the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt have surfaced on social media. Other Palestinians have been documented queuing outside the Gaza offices that issue visas for Turkey to obtain a visa to emigrate. These Palestinians are leaving because they can no longer tolerate life under the Islamist movement of Hamas. They are not fleeing because of Israel.

“We want to live in dignity,” said a young Palestinian man in one of the videos. “All those who are seeking to emigrate want a dignified life. The young men are risking their lives, they are prepared to die.”

Another young man said: “I know I’m risking my life, but I want to leave, dead or alive. At least I will find a dignified life abroad. People want to leave because of the oppression and injustice we see here [in the Gaza Strip].”

Palestinian economic expert Mohammed Abu Jayyab confirmed that youth emigration from the Gaza Strip has seen an unprecedented increase over the past decade. He revealed that a large number of young people have already left the Gaza Strip, while many others are still trying to leave despite the risks involved and the lack of clarity about their future in the hosting countries. “High unemployment rates and scarcity of job opportunities are among the reasons behind the increase in emigration.”

Palestinian political analyst Mahmoud al-Raqab writes: “For more than 17 years, the residents of the Gaza Strip have been suffering from psychological, social, economic, and political problems resulting from internal division, humanitarian crises, and repeated wars. This has led the residents of the Gaza Strip to think about emigrating.”

According to some reports, nearly 40,000 Palestinians have fled the Gaza Strip since 2018. Al-Raqab writes:

“Despite their exposure to the risks of drowning, loss, and death, Palestinians fleeing the Gaza Strip see that Turkey and Europe are their hope and future. The Palestinian leadership must work hard to achieve comprehensive national reconciliation, end the state of division [between the Palestinian Authority-controlled West Bank and Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip], and provide job opportunities. If these demands are met, the Palestinians who left the Gaza Strip will return home, and the idea of emigration will disappear from their minds. If it is not achieved, we will be facing a major exodus of young and educated minds, as well as an exodus of experienced people who have lost confidence in the [Palestinian] political leadership.”

The Palestinian political leadership, however, does not appear overly worried about the large number of Palestinians fleeing Gaza. Abbas is busy spouting antisemitic tropes against Jews, delegitimizing Israel and demonizing Jews. In a speech on Aug. 24 before the Revolutionary Council of his ruling Fatah faction,

Hamas leaders, for their part, continue to pretend that everything is fine in Gaza. They are also continuing to incite Palestinians to carry out terror attacks against Israel. Notably, the Hamas leaders are making these statements from their five-star hotels and villas in Qatar and Lebanon.

By ignoring the plight of the Palestinians fleeing the brutal regime of the Islamists in the Gaza Strip, the United Nations and foreign media are doing a great disservice to the same Palestinians they claim to care about.

As Palestinian leaders continue to suppress the people of Gaza, Israel has increased the number of work permits for Gazans. In July, at least 67,769 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip were allowed to cross the Israeli-controlled Erez border crossing—up to 90% of them for jobs that pay well in Israel. Six percent of the exits were for patients needing medical treatment in Israel or the West Bank.

It seems that Israel is doing more to help the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip than the P.A., Hamas or any Arab country. However, because this news does not fit the anti-Israel agenda of many newspapers and foreign journalists, it is highly unlikely to make it into the mainstream media in the West.
